It spans simple mineral sources through advanced yeast-derived products rich in ergosterols, glutathione, and amino acids, covering complex nutrients, fermentation activators, and targeted aromatic solutions.

Common Questions

Questions about our nutrients.

  • Grapes often lack adequate YAN (yeast assimilable nitrogen), vitamins, sterols, and other growth factors. Nutrient deficiency leads to slow fermentations, H₂S production, and poor aromatic expression.

  • ŒnoStim requires a standard rehydration step. ŒnoStim Direct can be added directly to the rehydration water without a separate acclimatisation step, simplifying cellar operations.

  • Typically at the start of fermentation, with yeast rehydration, and/or at one-third sugar depletion. Follow the individual product protocols for exact timing and dosage.

  • Most complex and aromatic nutrient products carry EU Organic and NOP certifications. Check individual product pages for certification details.

  • Stuck ferments are often triggered by low YAN, high alcohol, temperature stress, or toxic fatty acids. Proper nutrition at inoculation and mid-fermentation, using Actibiol and ŒnoStim, significantly reduces the risk.
