Excellence® B-Nature® can be used instead or in complement of SO2 on grapes. It inhibits the development of spoilage microbes, protecting the grapes and juice from spoilage, VA increase and promoting the development of Saccharomyces. Excellence® B-Nature® is used as bio-protection to control the grape ecological niche.

Excellence® B-Nature® has particular characteristics that makes it suitable for bioprotection:

  • 100 % Metschnikowia pulcherrima

  • Not fermenting yeast

  • Control natural flora at harvest

  • Decrease the dosage of SO2 on the grapes

  • Reduce SO2-combining molecules

  • Increase the wine’s aromatic complexity

Dosage: 30 - 50 g/ton

Application: Sprinkle on grapes at harvest, fruit processing or pressing

Glutathione (GSH) is a sulfurous tripeptide that is naturally found in cells. It has a strong reducing capacity, giving it an important role in the fight against oxidation.

Aroma Protect® is rich in reducing compounds and adds GSH to the wine and wine lees, directly available for effective control of the oxidative mechanisms in wines. By significantly slowing oxidative phenomena, Aroma Protect® protects wines’ aromas and freshness.

This product is allowed for a use in Organic and NOP according to the current regulations.

Dosage: 15 - 30 g/hL

Application: End of fermentation, ageing wine in tank, in barrels. Alternative to SO2 for anti-oxidant protection.

Tan&Sense® Volume can be used to regulate the redox potential of barrel aged wines, to increase anti-oxidant resistance of the wine and as anti-oxidant (radical scavenger) during wine movement.
